Verada Guest House is located in Somova village (10 miles away from Tulcea city), near the lake with the same name, where you will see a complex of spectacular lakes and bird colonies specific to the Danube Delta.
Verada Guest House is specially designed for a holiday together with your friends or the entire family. Assisted by the guides of our agency, the trips in Danube Delta will be memorable.
Verada Guest House has a capacity of 12 beds, for 10 adults and 2 children, in the 3 double rooms we have available at the ground floor and an apartment at the upper floor.
The accommodation unit has 3 parking spots at no extra cost.
The accommodation unit doesn’t allow pets.

SCHEDULE:

Verada Guest House has 3 double rooms on the ground floor and a spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms at the upper floor. This apartment has one double room at the entrance through which you can get to the private twin room.
All the rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub, TV, free Wi-Fi.
At the ground floor, the access in the 3 double rooms is individual alongside a rustic terrace, and the access in the apartment at the upper floor is separate made by an exterior staircase. Thus, every space has its privacy.
Facilities: Verada Guest House has a spacious kitchen, a designed space for outdoor grill and a gazebo for a nice dining and resting place in the sunny days.

DAY 1
Check-in can be made starting 15:00, and you will be welcomed by the hosts.
At 19:00, dinner will be served at the accommodation unit which consists of a fixed menu and a Romanian drink (pălincă) or a glass of wine.
DAY 2
At 8:00 AM, a breakfast buffet will be served with coffee and bottled water.
At 09:30 AM – 10:00 AM, the boarding for the Panoramic boat trip will be made from Tulcea harbor,
at the Verada Tour pontoon (in front of the Hotel Delta 4*).
We will head into the Danube Delta, where you will be delighted by the scenery of the lakes surrounded by reeds and you will be able to admire Delta’s specific birds and water lilies. The lakes are part of a cluster of lakes, offering a unique panorama. Here, we will have the opportunity to see white and yellow water lilies, swans, coots, ducks, geese, common spoonbills, black-tailed godwits, ibis and pelicans.
Then we will pass through narrow channels, under the willows, near the water lilies, to reach the fishing village Mila 23. Here we will discover a part of the specific culture of the Delta locals.
At 13:00, a meal will be served, which consists of a traditional fish lunch, drinks are not included.
After the fish lunch in the Mila 23 village, we will go on to Sulina city.
Here you will find a maritime cemetery, unique in the country and even in Europe. Sulina cemetery is a “historical reserve”, where senior officials of the European Commission of the Danube are buried, the Danish Magnusen – chief engineer of Sulina, engineer Carl Kühl, a young couple in love – a princess and a Greek prince, but also other people from the legend stories.
Another tourist attraction is the Old Lighthouse in Sulina – which today is a museum – and it was built between 1869 and 1870. With a height of 17.34 meters, and in a truncated architecture, the Lighthouse contains the work cabinet of Eugeniu Botez. Also, on the ground floor of the Lighthouse, there is another room dedicated to the European Commission of the Danube, an international body established by the Treaty of Paris of March 30, 1856

At 17:00, we land in Tulcea harbor, back to the pontoon.
At 19:00, dinner will be served at the accommodation unit, which consists of a fixed menu and a Romanian drink (pălincă) or a glass of wine.
DAY 3
At 8:00 AM, a breakfast buffet will be served with coffee and bottled water.
At 09:30 AM – 10:00 AM, the boarding for the Eco-friendly boat trip with a solar catamaran will be made from Tulcea harbor, at the Verada Tour pontoon (in front of the Hotel Delta 4*).
We will start on the Danube, quietly, to discover why the Danube Delta is so fascinating.
The solar catamaran allows us to have a trip at a slow peace, for eco-efficiency, using electric propulsion inside the Danube Delta, on channels and quiet lakes. Instead, we will optimize your time on the large channels and on the Danube by using the classic engine. With a high and stable deck, the catamaran is ideal for your family, being friendly including with children and persons with disabilities.
Facilities available aboard the boat, FOR FREE are: 1 bottled water / 1 soft drink, Toilet, Binoculars, Informative materials.
Facilities available aboard the boat, FOR ADDITIONAL COST are: a mini-bar with water, soft drinks and ice cream.

At 8:00 AM, a breakfast buffet will be served with coffee and bottled water.
Check-out can be done until 12:00.

PAYMENT TERMS:

ADVANCE PAYMENT: 30%.
The rest of 70% should be made within 15 days before arrival date, the latest.
FULL PAYMENT if the booking is made less than 15 days before arrival date.

To be able to meet your needs, we will keep the Early Booking discount of 10% throughout the year 2020. Thus, regardless of the time of purchase and consumption of tourist services, you will benefit reduced rates in Danube Delta.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:

FREE if the cancellation is made more than 20 days before arrival date.
30% penalty if the cancellation is made between 20 to 15 days before arrival date.
70% penalty if the cancellation is made between 15 to 10 days before arrival date.
100% penalty if the cancellation is made between 10 to 0 days until arrival date or in case of a no-show.
100% penalty regardless of when you cancel if there is a special offer, for example: Early Booking!
