Boating Course

What do we offer?

  • Intensive Courses: Over 4 days, you'll cover both theory and practical, making sure you're ready for the challenges of sailing.
  • Graduation Diploma: At the end of the course, you'll receive a diploma certifying your competences and preparing you for the official exam.

Conditions of Participation:

  1. Minimum Age: 18 years old.
  2. Documents required for enrolment:
    • Copy of your identity card.
    • A copy of your most recent school certificate.
    • A certificate from your family doctor stating that you are medically fit to drive a recreational motorboat (to be presented to the Captaincy).

Costs:

  • 1300 LEI (one category only).

    + 50 LEI Practical exam fee

  • Special Discount: When you buy both categories, you get a 200 lei discount.

Necessary documents for enrolling for the Captain Exam:

  • Copy and original of the diploma.
  • Copy and original identity card.
  • Copy and original of your degree certificate.
  • Copy and original medical certificate.
  • Copy and original of the psychological opinion.
  • Rail type folder.
  • The exam fee for the Captain's exam.

Documents needed to get a licence:

  • The documents mentioned above.
  • A passport photo.

Further information:

  • Course duration: 4 days,

  • Course programme: Friday: 17:00, Saturday: 08:00, Sunday: 08:00, Monday: 07:30- Hotel Insula (on Ciuperca)

  • Course programme: It takes place on the first and last weekend of each month.
  • Minimum number of participants: 10 people.
  • Accommodation options: Accommodation in double rooms with or without breakfast and options for additional meals.
  • Additional activitiesOn request, we organise trips to the Danube Delta to enrich your experience.
