Vera, the chef, turns all the ingredients into a feast of flavour.
What does a table look like?
Breakfast. A Swedish buffet with yoghurt, milk, artisan cheeses, farmyard eggs, home-made sauerkraut and jams, including fig jam.
Fresh fish. Salmon, mackerel, mackerel, carp, smoked mackerel and mackerel, prepared in broth, plaice, brine or grilled.
Personalised menu. Dinner is agreed with holidaymakers and includes chicken or pork options for non-fish eaters.
On the house. White wine from the Saon monastery, perfect for fish dishes and quiet evenings in the garden.
Local ingredients. Cheeses from a farm in Măgurele, vegetables from their own garden and honey from local beekeepers.
Homemade desserts. Artisanal jams, including fig jam, and other traditional delights
