We invite you on a day trip to an absolutely fascinating place: the Letea Forest, the oldest nature reserve in Romania and also the northernmost subtropical forest in Europe. Here, amid sand dunes left behind by the Black Sea and centuries-old oak trees with roots hundreds of years old, nature still whispers stories.
Departing from Tulcea with a cultural stopover in the village of Mila 23, you will sail through a labyrinth of canals and wild lakes to Letea, where wild horses live in the wild, oak trees grow straight out of the sand and the air is full of tranquillity and mystery. If you've ever dreamed of getting lost in an authentic corner of nature, this is it.
